This course is meant to introduce you to the key concepts covered, and to help you determine the next steps in potentially commercializing your technology or building your existing startup. The vast majority of I-Corps participants walk away with significant, unexpected findings that change the direction of their work. This short course is a perfect introduction to I-Corps methodologies and the teaching team will help assess what subsequent program makes the most sense for your team.
The course if four weeks long with two full classroom days at the beginning and end of the course and two group meetings in the middle of the course, as well as office hours available for assistance. Participants are expected to interview 20-30 potential customers during or prior to the 4 week course.
If you have not been previously awarded a National Science Foundation grant for your invention/research, this course is required in order to be eligible for the National level NSF I-Corps Grant.
